Hotel Ilio has four different styles of accommodation: Contemporary, Mediterranean, Tuscany ed Essential. We at Elba Unexpected Paradise advise you to trust your intuition. And during your next stay, you can add a different dimension by changing your room style.
“Il Casale di Monserrato” is a newly opened B & B but its history is long and fascinating. In the early 17th century, the property was a convent, of which the delightful little church remains. Prior to that, it belonged to Don José Pons y León, Duke of Arcos and the Spanish governor of Naples.
Completely restored to reflect this noble past, the Casale is now an elegant and comfortable B & B. It is located just 3 km from Porto Azzurro, near to the Sanctuary of Montserrat, a place of worship and prayer and also of extraordinary natural beauty; this setting, evoking the wild beauty of the Iberian peninsula, inspired the Spanish visiting the island in bygone centuries to build the sanctuary.
Right on the beautiful Gulf of Biodola, Portoferraio, ” Baia Bianca” is a new and modern structure that blends with the white sandy beach protected by rows of tamarisks and directly overlooking the sea.
The minimal chic design is one of the key elements of the Baia Bianca and its extremely comfortable suites. The unimpaired view of the sea will add just the right touch of romance to your stay. There is also a delightful haute cuisine restaurant-bistro offering a menu of both typical Elba and Italian dishes.
Villa Alba Restaurant, in Marciana Marina, is an old farmhouse restored in traditional Tuscan style. The characteristic pastel-coloured plasterwork and bared stonewalls are leitmotifs of both the interior and the exterior of the building.
The kitchen, headed by Francesco, the chef and owner of Villa Alba, is based on traditional dishes, made mostly with locally sourced produce.
For example, we highly recommend the homemade jams and pastries served on the abundant, freshly prepared breakfast buffet in the upper floor dining room.
